Definitions
Customers or visitors to this website are referred to as “you.” Hodge Podge is referred to as “us,” “our” or “we.”
Contract of sale
No contract will be formed until you have received an email stating that your order status is "Posted" and the item has left our premises. Due to the nature of our business, occasionally items that are shown on our website will not be in stock - in these cases we will email you with your options which may be limited to an immediate refund (refunds take 3-5 working days to get to your account after we have processed them).
Making a purchase
When you purchase an item from us, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order and a unique order number. When your item has been posted, you will receive an email confirming your purchase has been dispatched. You will normally receive a confirmation of postage email within one to two working days of your order being received and processed. In the unlikely event that the postage of your item is delayed, we will contact you to inform you of the date on which you can expect delivery. Unless your purchase coincides with a break in supply, orders will not take more than two working days to be dispatched. Most orders are dispatched on the same or next working day. Orders placed at the weekend will normally be posted on the next working day. If you have any special requirements for postage, please contact us at the time of your order and we will be happy to try and meet these requirements.
Pricing
All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT and in GBP (£). We welcome purchases from overseas but all orders are charged in GBP, any transaction fees that are added by your card company are not our responsibility.
We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those including price. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions and/or product and price information without any notice being given.
Packaging
We make every effort to package your items attractively, safely and securely. Where possible, every item is giftwrapped. It is important that you retain any packaging if you want to make a return.
Postage
All items within the UK ordered online or by telephone will be posted by Royal Mail and may require a signature. With regard to international deliveries, any additional charges that may be incurred for customs clearance must be borne by you.
If your order is late, please contact us. We can only refund non-deliveries when the parcel is officially classified as lost by the Royal Mail. This is 15 working days after the date of delivery. We will always try our best to make sure you get your items on time.
Quality
We only work with designers which produce the highest standard of jewellery and accessories. We take great care to accurately describe and photograph each item, but the colour, finish and shape of unique handmade items made from natural materials may differ from one item to another.
We want you to purchase from our website with confidence and in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with us and we'll see what we can do.

We understand that your want to shop securely and with confidence. It therefore uses an online secure payment service provider to process your card payment. This provider uses state-of-the-art internet solutions to ensure that the personal and sensitive data you provide when making a purchase from us is not compromised. The security services of this provider are among the most advanced in the country.

All use of our website must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. Our terms and conditions apply to your use of our website. By accessing this website and ordering goods on this website you are agreeing to be bound by our terms and conditions.

We strive to keep our website up-to-date but reserve the right to amend, cease or withdraw any product or service at any time without notice. You agree to use this website for personal purposes only. You warrant that personal information you are required to give us when registering as a customer is true, accurate and complete.
PRICES
All prices are quoted in GBP £ Sterling. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. However, if the price of goods increases between the date we accept your order and your delivery date, you will be charged the price quoted at the time of the order acceptance. In the unlikely event we have accidently underpriced a product, we shall not be obliged to supply you the product at that price, provided that we notify you of the error before processing your order. In such cases, it is solely your choice to accept or decline the goods at the new price.
Our prices include VAT at a rate of 20%, with the exception of some food items and books which are classed as zero-rated goods. The VAT rate is subject to change if the rate of VAT changes before your order is accepted by us. All prices are exclusive of postage and packing.
SPECIAL OFFERS & PROMOTIONS
All special offers and promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice; for instance, if promotional stock becomes unavailable to us. ‘Sale’ items are often end-of-line products and, by their nature, are usually available in small quantities and for a limited period only. Any discount codes must be applied by the customer and are only valid for the time period shown. Any promotional ‘Gift with Purchase’ item must be added to the shopping basket by the customer. In the unlikely event that the Gift with Purchase becomes unavailable we reserve the right to substitute using a product of equal or higher value. There is a maximum of one Gift with Purchase per order. In the event you decide to return an item that qualified for a Gift with Purchase, you are required to also return the Gift with Purchase; otherwise a deduction to cover the value of the promotional item will be made. Offers may not be applied to any other specific product already subject to a sale or special promotional price unless expressly so advertised. For the purposes of discounts, an order total is deemed to be the total of goods only, excluding any delivery charge.
PAYMENT
We accept all major credit and debit cards, (except American Express.) On completion of your shopping; you will be redirected to a secure payment screen hosted by Worldpay, or Paypal if you so choose. Present Company does not store or have access to your credit card information.
If you prefer to pay by cheque you may send your cheque and order to us via post. Alternatively, you may telephone to place your order and then send us your cheque. We will happily reserve stock for you but are unable to despatch your order until your cheque has cleared in full.
